Nashville’S Noelle Blends Modern Amenities and Art Deco Charm

Situated in the heart of downtown Nashville and backing up to Printer’s Alley, Noelle—a boutique 222-room hotel—offers the perfect high-style home base for exploring Music City. Since going independent in 2023, the experiential hotel has undergone a refresh, offering an array of activations, amenities, and unique partnerships in addition to beautifully updated rooms.

As part of the property’s revamp, 75 spacious studios and 12 expansive luxury studios were updated with modern, calming color palettes and sleek finishes. The hotel added new services to make stays more comfortable and create an “only in Nashville” experience, including access to local gyms via a wellness pass; entry to the rooftop deck with a refreshment station; evening turndown service; record players and vinyl on lend; a special discount on gift items at Keep Shop; and exclusive access and deals for a curated roster of Nashville partners.

At the heart of everything the Noelle does is its connection to the creative community of artists and makers, and its commitment to being a creative gathering place. In February 2023, it debuted a ticketed dinner series at its flagship restaurant, Makeready Libations & Liberation, featuring community innovators and changemakers as “head of the table” guest speakers to foster engaging conversations around specific topics. Other community-focused events and activities include a quarterly makers market populated with local artists and small businesses; live music in Trade Room Bar; and a monthly self-guided art crawl through the hotel’s collection of portraits of 100 Nashville notables who’ve impacted the community.

“We’ve built a destination that offers a sophisticated curation of downtown centered on authentically crafted experiences,” says Ben Olin, General Manager for Noelle. “From art to food to design to history, Noelle has the connective tissue that allows our guests to have a true Nashville encounter. We are thrilled to embark on this new chapter, particularly during such an exciting time for hospitality in our city.”

During a weekend stay at Noelle, you’ll be tempted to stay on property for your gastronomic adventures, thanks to its five food and beverage concepts: Drug Store Coffee, Hidden Bar, Makeready Libations & Liberation restaurant, Rare Bird rooftop bar, and The Trade Room lobby bar and lounge. The historic building—originally the Noel Hotel, and the tallest building in Nashville when it opened in 1930—is full of creative nooks and crannies to explore.

Keep Shop, the on-site luxury retail concept

Add to that the in-house luxury retail shop, Keep Shop, and the abundance of on-site event programming, and you could easily occupy yourself within the confines of the hotel. But the point of a visit to Nashville is, of course, to experience everything the city offers, and the hotel’s location at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Church Street downtown gives you plenty of opportunities to do just that.

If you’re heading to Nashville soon, add Noelle to your list for a stay (or at least a tour through the stunning bar, restaurant concepts, and public spaces). Through an inspired renovation, it is infusing Nashville’s creative soul and community spirit into every touchpoint while preserving the Art Deco flavor of its historic surroundings. Today, in its second act within a burgeoning city, the hotel continues to honor its almost century-old legacy built in collaboration with Music City’s finest artisans.
