We were lucky enough to stay at Dive Palm Springs, an 11-room petite boutique resort inspired by the French Riviera of the 1960’s. An adults-only enclave in the heart of Palm Springs, the few days we spent at Dive were filled with rest and relaxation—the perfect recharge before returning to the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles.
The central garden of Dive and outdoor areas are immaculately designed. There’s a 15-foot bench that encircles a cluster of towering palm trees where we enjoyed our homemade breakfast every morning. Nearby, French bistro tables and cozy daybeds offer additional places to enjoy a tasty cocktail and a good book in the shade. The orchard and koi ponds also offer a relaxing area to enjoy your vacation.
The furnishing was exquisite, and the attention to detail is a delight to all guests. Elegant King rattan beds are covered with Belgian linen atop mattresses by Tuft and Needle. The furniture is by Serena & Lilu, Anthropologie and a handful of LA designers.
After a long day of soaking up sun, retreating to a shower lined with colorful red tiles and glass rainfall showers felt great. The vintage refrigerators, mini-bars and wine-crates were the perfect touches to the 70’s vibe, and the wall murals by Gabriella Fash and Christian Lacroix (La Reve room) are simply gorgeous.
We highly recommend getting away for a few days at Dive Palm Springs. There’s no secret why it was voted a Top 5 new hotel by the USA today. Treat yourself. Oh, and make sure to give them a follow on Instagram if you want to explore more.
