New York’s Catskill region is a perfect weekend getaway for those who love the outdoors. From scenic hikes to stunning waterfalls, upstate New York will leave you feeling connected to nature and wanting to explore more. There are numerous small towns in the Catskills region, encompassing four counties. For this itinerary, we suggest Windham, one of the oldest towns in the region.
Where to stay:
The Eastwind in Windham is a unique property nestled in a quiet hillside of the Catskills offering a cabin, suite or bunk house lodging experience. The Eastwind amenities include two Scandinavian-style saunas, hammocks for lounging, fire pits for smore’s making, complimentary bikes to explore the area, and a lounge and bar for cocktails.
