Where: Sedona, Arizona

What: Following a $40-million renovation and expansion, the beloved spa (known around the world by spa aficionados) reopened in January. With the expert guidance of a personal journey concierge, design a fully-tailored 3, 5, or 7-day experience.

Where You’ll Sleep: Rest and reset in one of 16 newly unveiled Southwestern modern casitas enveloped by Cottonwood trees and replete with private outdoor patios, gas kiva fireplaces, and heated bathroom floors.

Design Notes: Gluckman Tang Architects along with EDG Architecture+Design and Colwel Shelor Landscape Architects turned to the majestic red rock landscape of Boynton Canyon for the new design replete with a sunken seating lounge and a restored circular Crystal Grotto for inner reflection and meditation. 

Le Spa du George V 

Where: Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, France

What: The glamorous spa features walls clad in black-and-white toile wallpaper, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and a vitality pool heated to 86-degrees Fahrenheit.

The Spa at Rancho Valencia

What: Situated in a lush, 45-acre Mediterranean-inspired setting just 25 miles north of San Diego, the spa features a Serenity Yoga pavilion; a pilates studio; a spa pool with a café; a warm and cozy spa lounge with an oversized fireplace; a hydrotherapy circuit; and The Salon for nail, makeup, and hair services.

Aman Kyoto

Where: Kyoto, Japan

What: Located in a secluded area within walking distance of famed golden temple, Kinkakuji, the Japanese hideaway features minimalist-inspired rooms and a Living Pavilion framed by floor-to-ceiling glass windows with views of idyllic surrounding gardens.
