Working out at home was never so easy. There is free content galore, and no one really has the time to drive to the gym. Now’s the time to designate a zone in your home to make your health and wellness goals a reality.
Kinetic Kit
Probably the simplest way of creating a place to get fit at home is to make a kit. Your kit can contain some simple essentials like dumbbells or kettle balls, resistance bands, a jump rope, and a yoga mat. Store these essentials in a flip up storage ottoman or any storage piece that hides the items well.
Corner Curtain
If you have a corner of a room that is empty, you can designate a space without giving up a whole room. Just add a curtain or a screen to the corner and you can hide your equipment.
Garage
If you’re lucky enough to have a garage with a little empty space, it’s a great place to put a larger piece of equipment like a treadmill or exercise bike. The nice thing about this approach, is it’s out of your main living area and for those who like the separation, it’s a nice way to step out to work out without the commute to the gym.
Outdoor
There really are no excuses for making a space to work out, especially if you have a little bit of private outdoor space on your property. Even a small deck or small side yard is a place to do a high intensity interval routine, a yoga workout or even a full body stretching practice. Invest in a sturdy container for your outdoor space and store your fitness items there, and all you must do is step outside.
